WORK AND CAMPAIGNS
Academically I pursued my Master of Management studies (Heritage Management) from Centre for Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University and before that Bachelor of science (Geography) from Faculty of science, Maharaja Sayajirao Univeristy.
Apart from my studies I have been involved with various campaigns in the city with my own group Baroda Strickers and other organizations as a partner. As an individual contribution I also run a few initiatives for spreading awareness on causes. Some of my recent professional and personal work is listed below,
Heritage Selfie Series

In my master’s study I had chance to visit many heritage sites and I combined my passion for heritage sites with technology. I take selfie with the monument, site or particular thing which is considered as heritage and give information about it in a short paragraph to raise awareness about the site and telling people why that particular site is important locally, nationally or internationally. This campaign has received a huge positive response and people have joined the initiative by taking photos and putting up on their social media to support the campaign. I have covered almost 50 important heritage sites till now and it is still counting in her list.

You can join the campaign simply by following the above format and share it on your social media using hashtag #HERITAGESELFIE
Karastaan workshops

I Started my photography journey by organizing photography competition for environmental awareness under my group 'Baroda Strickers'

My interest in raising awareness for nature conservation got me into learning photography. I Worked and managed workshops under leadership of Mr.Tejas soni and karastaan for almost two years. I travelled toIndia's iconic places like Ladakh, Sattal, Mathura, Pushkar, Bharatpur etc. Some of my personal favorite shots were taken during different karastaan workshops.

A movement for vishwamitri

A short project and film ‘Lost lifeline of vadodara: river vishwamitri’
In this project I studied the stretch of the river vishhwamitri which flows in the heart of Vadodara city. The seasonal river has rich biodiversity and it plays as a breeding ground for crocodiles. The Ghats of the river has Lord Shiva temples which are almost a century old. Sadly the banks of the river and water has become merely a dumping place in the city.
This was one of my small contribution for Heritage week and vadodara city. Vishwamitri river is city's natural and cultural heritage and preserving it is responsibility of each citizen living in the city.

Earthday programs

As a consultant of Earth Day Network - India for Gujarat, I organized various programs under Salt march heritage project and partnering with other institutions. Apart from Dandi path biodiversity conservation initiative, one major work was, Identifying and mapping trees which are more than 100 years old and has a historic significance related to Salt satyagrah. The trees are considered as Heritage trees and preserving them is important.

There were lectures, rallies for swacchta and awareness programs in different villages and cities in Gujarat. The programs were shifted on digital platforms during the time of Pandemic.
